A Star Is Born è un vero successo al botteghino ed è già entrato nella top 20 dei film che hanno incassato di più nel 2018, ma anche l'album sta andando benone ed ha regalato un nuovo record a Lady Gaga. Il disco ha debuttato alla prima posizione della Billboard HOT200 con 231.000 copie e anche questa settimana è rimasto in vetta con ben 109.000 copie.
Tre settimane al vertice della celebre classifica americana, nessun album della Germanotta era riuscito in questa impresa, nemmeno Born This Way (che è rimasto per due settimane alla numero 1). A Star Is Born è anche la prima colonna sonora che negli ultimi dieci anni è riuscita a restare stabile alla 1 in Billboard per tre settimane. Direi che non poteva andare meglio di così.
